Nearly two decades ago, I walked deep into Mammoth Cave alongside the Dalai Lama and a cohort of monks and musicians. As we descended into the depths of the Earth, we listened—and then we allowed the planet to speak through us and our instruments. We tuned ourselves into the Earth, and in doing so, found ourselves increasingly connected to one another.
